Best Scenery Contest
Take part in the "Best Scenery Contest" now!
As the name implies, members are to send in their entry pics which they think have the most beautiful scenery in MapleStory. However, take note that wat is important in the pics is the BACKGROUND SCENERY and not wat ur characters, NPC or monsters are doing in the foreground. An example of a nice scenery pic is the one taken by Siren for the fishing fun/intro post.
To join in this contest, follow these easy steps:
1) Pick a scenery in the MapleStory game that u like.
2) Take a Screenshot or Pic of the scenery.
3) Email ur pic/entry with ur name to our guild email address: kabishms@yahoo.com.sg - *Each member is entitled to send in a maximum of 2 entries*
4) DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: 31 MAY 2007
5) All entries will be posted on blog for voting from 1 June 2007 to 15 June 2007. Entry with the highest number of votes will be the WINNER!

Watch Out for GPQ on 12 May!
Congrats to all who have finished their exams and jiayou to those who are still taking their exams! ^^
As promised, we shall have a GPQ session after ur exams on this Sat, 12 May @ 10.00am. All members who are interested to join in, please be online at that time and get ur characters to Victoria-Perion or straight to the excavation site.

Tira's message to the other 5 members who took part in the earlier GPQs (Dark, Leo, SW, Yan and Siren): Will appreciate if u could participate in this GPQ so that we can do a proper demonstration to the other members who are doing the GPQ for the 1st time. However, if u are not free (eg. Yan have exam), nevermind k. :)

Fishing Fun
- compliments of Siren
Many might have wondered wat is this new sport call fishing in MapleStory and wat u might see inside. Well, compliments of Siren the fisherman, here is a really nice scenery there...
So, wat do u need to go for fishing? And wat can u expect to get from fishing?
THINGS REQUIRED FOR FISHING:
1) Buy a fishing rod from Cash Shop which cost 4,500 A-Cash and lasts for 1 month. Item can be transferred between characters in the same account.
2) Buy a fishing chair from Kendrick costing 50,000 mesos, the NPC who brings u to fishing site (Kendrick can be found in most towns). U only need to buy the chair once, unless u accidentally throw it away.
3) Buy fishing bait from Kendrick costing 3,000 mesos. This bait can last for 2 hrs and can only be bought ONCE EVERY 24 hrs for each character.
*Talk to Kendrick after u got all 3 items above and he will bring u to the fishing ground.
THINGS U CAN GET FROM FISHING:
Although they say that u can get catch every minute, sources say that only a small amount of mesos, experience and sometimes ores can be gotten from fishing. However, fishing is perfect for pple who just wana afk their character and yet gain experience and earn mesos. Choice is urs whether u wana spend real $ for such purpose. ^^

Glimpse of Guild Quest (GPQ)
After a few tries at GPQ, we (Tira, Yan, Dark, Leo, SW and Siren) finally managed to get to Stage 5 - Boss Stage. But as expected, all of us died fighting Ergoth and his minions...Ok, we were merely tickling them...dun think they hurt at all T_T
Here is a photo of out glorious death (the good news is, dying in the GPQ only cost us 1% exp):
Stage 1 to 4 basically needs coordination and choosing the right combination of characters of various jobs to do different task. For Stage 5, well...I guess we all gotta work hard at leveling for the moment. No way we can scratch Ergoth anytime soon...keke.
However, those of u who are having exams, dun feel left out. We will organize another GPQ after ur exams. Watch blog for date and time or ask Tira or any of the Jr. Masters for more updates.
After going through the GPQ, the party quest at Kerning City (KCPQ) seems like peanut/chicken feet. Below are 2 past photos we took of the fun at KCPQ. Participants in the pic includes: Ray, Dark, Boi and Tira.
