Answer to Where Am I?-Quiz 3
The Answer is as follows:
"The steam in this Regular Sauna Dungeon is unbearable."
Although we had 3 guesses this round, none of the entries are the correct answer we are looking for. Mwahaha...why leh? Coz the rule of this game specifically said that the "MAP NAME" located at the top left corner is the correct answer. So, DD's "Sauna Lah", Su's "Sauna Dungeon" and Dark's "The sauna in sleepywood" are all wrong. Ok, all of u dun get agitated and go kill Tira, its not her fault T_T
Since, no one got the correct answer for this Quiz, the prize monies of 100,000 mesos will be snowballed to Quiz 4...look out for it soon!!!

The Duel
Wanna know why DarkTorto is the way she is??? Read on... ...
Being in the service line is not an easy job and it was much worse for DarkTorto, who is an air stewardess from the Top airline in MapleStory, MapleAir.com. On this faithful day, DarkTorto went to the skin care center in Ludibrium for some regular facial and spa treatment. She met TiraCream, who is also doing facial, there.
Much to DarkTorto's horror, TiraCream called her Kopi-Soh and even ordered DarkTorto to bring her coffee!!! DarkTorto couldnt tolerate such insolence, she thought to herself "I will have it out with her! That b****!"
So, DarkTorto called TiraCream out for a duel at Blossom Island. The beautiful and peaceful scenery at Blossom Island was soon broken by the two's fighting. TiraCream taunted DarkTorto, "Kopi Soh, wo men jue yi si zhan." "Let's fight it out man, u make me angry," DarkTorto shouted angrily. 'King-kong-clang...bish-bosh-piak!" The sounds of their fighting echoed to the ends of the whole blossom island. Just at that moment, they heard a distant voice called out to them. "Who is making so much noise and awakening me from my beauty sleep?" complained Hong Niang.
DarkTorto and TiraCream realised that they have committed a grave mistake by awakening the legendary Hong Niang. Hong Niang was said to be the most formidable enemy one can ever meet in Blossom Island. Her famous "Hong Niang Song" can put one into an endless slumber and her other unknown spells can send chills down one's spine if you were to ever hear of them. DarkTorto and TiraCream decided to settle the problem with Hong Niang together first before settling their own quarrel. TiraCream whispered to DarkTorto, "Shhh...let's sneak up on Hong Niang." They wanted to catch Hong Niang unaware and beat her up before she can even use her spells on them.
"Pzzt!" a bright spark went off from Hong Niang's fan and hit DarkTorto straight in her face. She was momentarily stunned and when her vision cleared up, she felt that she was 3 years old again and her mummy was standing right in front of her (ie. TiraCream). "Mummy, buy me a toy or I will not get up," demanded DarkTorto. Facing such a ridiculous action from DarkTorto, TiraCream looked at her helplessly and thought, "Well, I guess this ends our duel. I can't possibly fighting with a baby." Then, TiraCream left Blossom Island, leaving poor DarkTorto to wake up from her state on her own. Ermm...till this day, you may find DarkTorto suddenly becoming 'sot-sot' de occasionally...that's the leftover effect from Hong Niang's spell.

Due to quick response and prompt entries, this Quiz 1 had been closed ealier than the scheduled deadline of tomorrow. As this is a new game, hope all will understand that we are still trying to fine-tune the game.

TangyCaramel's Salon Adventure
Wanna know how TangyCaramel got her superb haircut??? Read on to find out...
On a bright sunny day, TangyCaramel was walking her pet cargo, Tairen, when she had a sudden urge to go traveling. TangyCaramel thought, "Ah...it has been so long since I visited TiraCheese in Ossyria. I wonder how she is doing over there, maybe I should give her a surprise visit!" And so began TangyCaramel's journey to Ossyria with her beloved Tairen.
Maybe it's the strong wind or the salty smell of the seawater, Tairen started acting abnormally and kept growling. Suddenly, he sprang an attack on TangyCaramel...scaring her to tears. Her face turned white and she could feel all her hair stand from the fright. Although she finally managed to calm Tairen down, she could not regain her composure and her face remain white as sheet and her hair refused to be combed down.
When she finally reached Ossyria, she found TiraCheese sitting alone near Staff Sergeant Charlie's shop. Mischeviously, TangyCaramel came upon TiraCheese quietly to surprise her. "Eeeee....Ghost!!!!" screeched TiraCheese. With a white face and standing hair, TangyCaramel certainly looked like a ghost. :P
Poor TangyCaramel...she felt really 'pai seh' that her friend could not recognize her. "Am I truly that ugly?" thought Tangy Caramel. With determination, TangyCaramel decided to look for the famous hair stylist - Don, from Kerning City Hair Salon, to rescue her hair.
So, TangyCaramel went back to Victoria Island and head straight down to Kerning City Hair Salon with her good friend TiraCream. But alas! When she entered the shop, she was totally ignored by Don. Maybe its because of the sorry state she was in, or maybe Don was just an arrogant hair stylist, he refused to serve her. At that moment, TangyCaramel got angry and demanded that Don to fix her hair immediately!
But Don was not one to get scared easily. After TangyCaramel's failed attempt to get Don's help, TiraCream threatened him. TiraCream said, "Don, get her hair done! If u dun fix her hair, I will get our whole guild to raid your salon...we will make sure nothing in ur shop stays in-tact!"
The threat did not go well with Don, but he certainly did not wish to see his lovely shop being raided. Thus, Don got to work with TangyCaramel's hair. In the 'snap' of the fingers, TangyCaramel disappeared??!!! TiraCream looked in amazement at the 'new' girl standing in front of her....is that really TangyCaramel??? The once mad-looking girl is no more and in her place, a sweet demure looking girl ^^. Welcome aboard, our new and improved TangyCaramel!!!!

WHERE AM I? - INTRODUCTION
We are launching a new game on our blog for all members to participate, have fun and win prizes. The name of the game is call "Where am I?"
How does this game work?
A "cut-off" pic will be posted on this blog like the following pic of TiraCheese.
By analyzing this pic, members are to guess where is TiraCheese? Clues can be found in the background of the pic. Members are to note down the "map name" located at the top left corner of the screen where their guess of the location of TiraCheese is. Thereafter, members can post in their guess and await the release of the result (explanation of the entry procedure is below)
By the deadline given, another pic will be posted with the full screen view of the Quiz Answer.
Answer for the sample pic above is: TiraCheese is at Burnt Land I
* Pls give full name of the map the char is in, see the red circled map name on the top left corner.
How do I enter for the Quiz?
Members are to post their answers on the blog by clicking on " *Click to comment - (X) comments* " below and choosing the option "Post a Comment". Type out the full name of the map as answer and remember to leave ur name as a record.
When will the Quiz end and answer be announced?
An estimated 1 week will be given for members to post their guesses (exact deadline will be given together with the post of the quiz). The answer will be posted 1 day after the deadline.
What are the prizes?
The prize for each Quiz is 50,000 mesos. If there are 2 or more members with the same correct guess, the prize will be shared equally. If however, no one is able to guess the correct answer for the Quiz, the prize will be snowballed (accumulated) to the next Quiz.

KC PQ - EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT @ 11pm
Bored with the endless training, tiring chionging and irritating quests??? Miss the fun during those Party Quests where frens can play a fool while at the same time work together to complete a quest?
For ALL who miss PQ, we are having a time slot specially dedicated for PQ lovers! Every Friday night from 11pm onwards to 1am (or even later if u are up for it ^^), we are organizing the Kerning City Party Quest fun. All members who are interested in KC PQ will just need to be online at 11pm on Fridays and group into a team of 4 and ur PQ fun can start straight away. U can also use ur other chars which are not members of this guild or even invite your friends. If u do not have a PQ char between Level 21 to 30, go create one NOW to join in the fun! (Disclaimer: There is NO guarantee that there will be enuff pple for PQ every Friday, but we hope all who are interested would participate.)

This is a friends guild and basically we do not have a set of guild rules to bind us. However, we hope that all members will take note of the following DONT's in our guild...we encourage that ALL members do not participate/engage in these ACTS as they are not in line with our guild's style:
DO NOT
1) Kill Steal (KS) - KSing those who KS u first is understandable, but we do encourage members to cc or just change map in such circumstances
2) Defame Others - unless they defame u first
3) Engage In Guild War/KS War - do not implicate the rest of the guild by starting a Guild/KS War
4) Scam/Con - think of pple's hard-earned mesos
5) Beg - if u have a weapon, go hunt and earn mesos urself
6) Pester Other Members - this refers to unwanted attention, begging for loans, stalking fellow members
Hope that by not committing the above acts, we can create a better mapling environment and a happier guild ^^

He grew up in the Ancient Temple of the Goondos and was named Goon by his teacher. He loves and respects his teacher dearly and when his teacher suddenly fell sick to an unknown disease, he swore to find the cure. An apprentice to Grendel the Great, Yannnzi grew up in the forested Ellinia and had an unnatural gift of magic. Loving the taste of adventure, she loves to wonder into the unknown woods but would normally end up getting lost becoz of her poor sense of direction. Wats worse is that when she gets scared and nervous, she starts tripping and falling everywhere she walks. One day, she found a manual and learned the skill of "Door-ing" which allows her to teleport back to the nearest town wherever she is. With this new skill, she is no longer afraid of getting lost and decided to venture out and explore the world.

A chendol loving boy who was teased and mocked by all other boys in his town for his weird love for chendol, therefore his nickname "Chendolboi". Despite so, he grew up fine and strong...though he still loves chendol. One day, the dessert man left town and Boi was in despair T_T . He turned to a life of theft to obtain the love of his life - chendol! Luckily, he met TiraCheese one day and she invited him to guild where he mended his ways and earned a living to buy all the chendol he wants.
10) Popo / Mushy Poop

Word has it that long long ago, there was a Mashimaro who was loved whole heartedly by her master, Popo. Under Popo's loving care, Mashimaro grew up with warmth. Sadly, Popo is no immortal...soon, Mashimaro's master died. Heartbroken but with a desire to find a way to revive her master, Mashimaro decided to become a priest to experiment the skill of revival. Calling herself Mashipopo (after her master), she decided to join guild to learn to be a cleric first before she advanced to be a priestess.
11) Mint / Minty

She is a "gung-ho" spearwoman who is afraid of nothing and would challenge anyone without fear. Her motto is to exceed her own limits in everything she does. But can she really survive against the hostile and dangerous monsters in this island? And will she be able to keep her cool against the many ksers, looters and cheaters around? Time will tell! For now, she is fortunate to befriend Mashipopo (for cheap healing purposes :P ) and was brought into guild where she found more frens to assist her OR maybe...for her to challenge...
12) Ray (B'dae: 7 Nov)
Characters:
- Rayleigh - Cleric
Named after his ancestor Lord Rayleigh, Rayleigh XIII strives hard to become a legend in the physics world. He discovered the ability to concentrate magnetic field into energy bolts. After becoming a magician, Rayleigh continued with his energy research and discovered that to venture further, he needs to find out how God controls all energy. On his journey to attain priesthood, he met two kind souls Mashipopo and Blurymint who enlightened him, and was introduced to the guild.

A blur boy who got lost on his way home and ended up on the streets. He had no money and had to pawn his clothes for food but was mistaken for a nudist. Believing that a certain prayer to the Gods would bring him a windfall, he wield his weapon desperately in hope that money will drop from the sky. But instead of money, God sent a saviour Chendolboi who brought him into the guild. Now he no longer worries about food or being caught for being naked.
